NVIDIA is gearing up for a big launch on Monday, if the UK homepage is anything to go by. Heading on over to http://www.nvidia.co.uk takes you a countdown timer that's designed to whet your appetite.

So we wonder what's happening on Monday morning. Perhaps it's the GeForce GTX 460 launch, perhaps it's the official launch of 3D Vision. Who knows?

Let's see if our avid HEXUS.community members can guess what it is. We might even coerce NVIDIA into giving a prize to the person who's guessed correctly.

Yup, I'd go with the GTX460 launch, not least as the preview image shows “GeForce” and the listings of it on various retailers around the globe.

Judging by the size of the thing that's under the cloth, I'd say either a new ‘Terrastation’ (or whatever they're called) with massive 8x CUDA performance and what-not; or they've finally sussed that they could 4 way SLI their GTX480s and sell it as a radiator.

I think under that blanket are a group of angry shareholders. Maybe Nvidia are going to launch them into a pool filled with sharks. Sharks with lasers.
