Available in 512MB and 1,024MB framebuffer sizes, the packages will start at around £70 and scale to £90 for the larger-capacity model.
Gigabyte will be factory-overclocking the 1,024MB part, GV-R567OC-1GI, from a default core speed of 775MHz to 785MHz. The memory-speed remains the same. We expect little real-world performance increase from the OC GPU, though.
Equipped with a dual-slot cooler and outputs that encompass HDMI, dual-link DVI, and VGA, we should see the card crop up, in stock, at etailers in the coming week. Given what we said in our review, the pricing needs to drop by around 20 per cent for the Radeon HD 5670 1,024MB to make sense.
