ZOTAC already seems to have a graphics card designed specially to fit into every conceivable scenario, but it's leaving no stone unturned and is today launching its GeForce 9600 GT LP - a low-profile derivative of NVIDIA's GPU designed exclusively for small-form-factor users.
The trimmed-down card, pictured below, ships with both full-height and low-profile brackets, and brings NVIDIA's PureVideo HD video acceleration to confined spaces.
Unusually for a card of its nature, ZOTAC's GeForce 9600 GT LP features a GPU pre-overclocked to 675MHz - up from the standard 650MHz. That's joined by 64 stream processors clocked at a reference 1,650MHz and 512MB of GDDR3 memory running at an effective 1,800MHz.
Connectivity options on the full-height bracket include VGA, HDMI and DVI. For low-profile installations, users have a choice of two brackets - one providing a single VGA output, whilst the other sports DVI and HDMI.
No word on pricing yet, but it'll be backed by ZOTAC's extended warranty when it reaches retail.
