Palit Microsystems has become the latest manufacturer to unveil a customised Radeon HD 4850 graphics card.
It's solution, the Palit Radeon HD 4850 Sonic! offers a dual-slot cooling system with two-ball bearing PWM fans, dual heat-pipes and a copper base.
Unlike custom-cooled offerings from various other manufacturers, the Palit HD 4850 Sonic! provides pre-overclocked core and memory speeds of 685MHz and 2,000MHz, respectively.
Palit has also added an 8-pin power connector, which it claims provides a more sufficient and stable energy distribution system, ideal for those who wish to do a spot of overclocking.
The custom-cooling design is said to lower GPU temperature by up to 20 degrees C, whilst keeping 10dB quieter than the AMD reference fan.
It all looks to be a tidy package, and its pre-tuned clock speeds are some of the highest we've seen so far. Pricing is yet to be announced, but the Palit Radeon HD 4850 Sonic! should be appearing very soon.
