Sapphire, the PC-hardware maker best known for graphics cards, today threw the switch on a new web portal - ATOMIC - aimed at hardcore gamers and claimed to bridge the gap between enthusiast and maker.
The company has, it claims listened to the demands of hardcore gamers and created 'an exciting new gaming portal to allow for this breed of virtual enlistee to take part in a live enthusiast hub'.
Moreover, the ATOMIC online portal is intended to allow for the open exchange of ideas between ATOMIC's 'innovative minds' and those in the front-line of gaming - the gamers themselves.
The site will also be promoting a new range of ATOMIC-branded hardware configurations said to go above and beyond standard specifications.
In its official announcement, the company says that the new hardware will be, 'Overclocked out of the box' and put 'fresh horsepower in the hands of the grunts of gaming' - with 'increased onboard memory speeds and more powerful configurations' that clearly separate ATOMIC solutions from mass-market vanilla versions.
And, Sapphire reckons, every ATOMIC product will come with desirable added-value extras, such as HDMI cables.
