As part of the HEXUS CES2014 video coverage, we reported upon Thermaltake’s Core V71, a new chassis which offers enthusiast level features and flexibility. This chassis design helps keep your system cool with its suitability for liquid cooling or "extreme airflow" setups.
Thermaltake has today officially released the full-tower Core V71 which is described as being engineered to "include enthusiast level features while keeping the design simple". The "massive mesh" design means that the chassis can maintain a constant stream of fresh air inwards whilst venting hot air out freely. What is more, the case includes a fan controller and LED indicator on the top panel so you can easily monitor and tweak this overall fan speeds.
The Core V71’s hefty 'Supreme Air Cooling System' is described as "the first in market that has the ability to house 4x200mm fans along with three more 120mm fans". Cooling can be further enhanced by its extensive liquid cooling support which features a front and top radiator of up to 420mm, a rear radiator of 120mm and a bottom radiator of up to 240mm, supporting extreme performance parts.

The chassis uses a "fully modular concept" to gain maximum interior space to facilitate advanced air cooling implementations or a liquid system build. When the drive cages have been removed, the back tray is designed to allow users to assemble quickly and with ease utilising tool-free installation mechanisms.
Prices are said start at $160 for the US market, but we are awaiting further details and confirmation for UK retail to be announced.
