Like the look of Lian Li's full-tower chassis? Want one that helps you future proof with the inclusion of USB 3.0 ports? Here's your answer, the Lian Li PC-A77F:
Measuring a noticeable 220mm x 572mm x 590mm and weighing a massive 9.2kg, the hand-made aluminium tower will be available with either a silver or black hair-line brushed finish and features a bevy of high-end Lian Li features.
As always, users can look forward to "no sharp edges", a complete tool-free approach - with a patented power supply bracket, tool-less drive bays and PCI securing brackets all featuring as standard - and anti-vibration rubber grommets in every conceivable nook and cranny, including the HDD cage, the 5.25in drive mounts, the PCI slots and the PSU bay.
Inside, there's room for e-ATX, ATX, m-ATX and CEB motherboards, as well as graphics cards measuring up to 365mm in length.
Cooling comes in the form of three 120mm blue-LED intake fans at the front, a duo of 120mm exhausts up top, and a further 120mm exhaust at the rear. What's useful is that the fans are hooked up to a built-in three speed fan controller that'll help you keep both cooling and noise at the desired level. On top of that, the PCI slots are vented, there's another vent beneath the PSU bay, and the chassis is equipped with pre-drilled support for water-cooling kits.
Eight PCI slots should be ample for your multi-GPU configurations, and storage capacity isn't likely to be a problem with nine 3.5in drive bays available - though, the bays don't appear to off any support for 2.5in drives. Cable management, however, is well catered for, with cutouts in the motherboard tray and Lian Li's patented cable management clamp installed at the base of the chassis.
Bringing something new to the table, Lian Li has revamped the PC-A77F's I/O panel with a quartet of USB 3.0 ports, along with a single eSATA port and audio connectors.
We've only briefly touched on some of the features this beast has to offer, but here's the bit of info you really need to know; Lian Li expects the PC-A77F to be available toward the end of March priced at $390+VAT. We reckon UK shoppers will be looking at an asking price of over £300.
