Chassis, power supply, and cooling specialist Thermaltake has unveiled an appealing new mid-tower PC chassis. The new Thermaltake View 21 Tempered Glass Edition, or View 21 TG for short, features dual 4mm thick tempered glass sides (left and right) plus a transparent front panel. Combined with an assortment of RGB internal components this chassis could very easily be a sight to behold.

Thermaltake has decided to install a full length PSU cover to "hide those unsightly cables," but seems to have forgotten that some will wish to show off their Thermaltake Toughpower iRGB PLUS 1250W Titanium Power Supply Units, or FSP / Bitspower Hydro PTM+ liquid cooled PSUs with RGB lighting.

For cooling, this chassis comes with a pre-installed 120mm fan at the rear. If you wish to install more fans there's room for 3 x 120mm or 2 x 140mm at the front, a 120mm or 140mm fan at the top, and a 120mm fan at the bottom of the case. Radiator support for liquid and AiO coolers is provided with room for a front 1 x 360mm or 1 x 280mm radiator in place of the aforementioned fans, or a 120mm rear radiator in place of the included exhaust fan. There are supplied a super-fine front filter, front panel filter, and bottom filters to keep your system relatively dust free.

The Thermaltake View 21 TG can fit up to two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch drives with the HDD brackets included. Furthermore, you can mount a couple of 2.5-inch drives on the wall of the PSU cover or vertically inside the left side panel.

You will have a wide choice of motherboards as this 8.05kg, 492 x 208 x 471mm chassis supports Mini ITX, Micro ATX and ATX sized boards with up to 7 expansion slots available. Maximum compatibility is as follows: CPU cooler height limitation: 160mm, VGA card length limitation: 410mm, PSU length limitation: 220mm.

Everyone appreciates front accessible I/O ports and the View 21 TG has USB 3.0 x 2, HD Audio x 1 available along its top edge next to power/activity LEDs and the power/reset switch.

Pricing and availability are yet to be revealed.

Airflow for a front mounted radiator (Which it looks like can only actually be 240mm even thought there's 360mm worth of fan because of the PSU shroud) is going to be really poor… And the single fans on the top and bottom seem like… 2010ish…
360mm should fit, there's a hole in the front of the PSU shroud (the pump/reservoir is poking through it in the top image). Airflow should be sufficient as well, as there's a big vent running the entire height of the door on the left hand side (and there's no way you could fit enough components in there to warrant a 360mm rad with the fans running flat out).

Not sure why anyone would want to show off their motherboard cutout, although at least you'll be able to see any RGB PSU illuminating the pile of cables in the bottom on the left side :p
