W4810 empowered with the Intel® Celeron N3160 Quad-Core Processor
09/19/2016 – Thecus® Technology Corp. today launched the W4810, the most recent addition to its Windows Storage Server 2012 R2 Essentials NAS series. The W4810 is equipped with the Intel® Celeron™ N3160 quad-core processorand 4 GB DDR3 RAM, introduction of this enhanced hardware brings forth premium performance and speed to this NAS server. This Windows based NAS provides small to medium-sized businesses with a robust, centralized storage solution to access, share, and manage their files.

offers the capacity of up to 40 TB. Windows Storage Server Essentials offers a host of features and functionality for organizations of all sizes including
Data Deduplication and
Storage Spaces for efficiency and protection, native support for
Active Directory, and remote access through the P2P application,
Orbweb.me. Users can further customize the W4810 to specific business needs as it supports third-party Windows Server add-ins. The Thecus WSS NAS is simple enough to be set up without IT support, yet provides enterprise-level solutions.
Compared to the W4000+, which is based on an Intel Atom dual-core processor, the W4810 with its Celeron quad-core CPU delivers more than double the processing power. In conjunction with its improved processor architecture, the W4810 is serviced by dual LAN ports, 4 USB3.0 (3x A type and 1x C Type) ports and advanced media connectivity (HDMI, SPDIF and Display port). This Window based NAS is user-friendly yet robustly answers the data needs of every forward-thinking small to medium-sized business.
