PRESS RELEASE
Taipei, Taiwan, May 20, 2020 – QNAP® Systems, Inc. (QNAP) will release the upgraded Qfiling 3.0 that not only simplifies file organization, but also adds automated recycling, and Qsirch and QuMagie integration for streamlined file and photo archiving. Qfiling 3.0 also goes beyond organizing files on local/remote NAS and attached storage devices, enabling users to file/archive data stored on mounted cloud storage by using HybridMount.
“Qfiling is a popular app that has helped both home and business users save a lot of time by organizing files and data into an easily manageable structure,” said Josh Chen, Product Manager of QNAP. “Not only does Qfiling 3.0 add new features, but is now also available for even more QNAP NAS models - including entry-level NAS with 1GB memory.”
Besides archiving files to specific folders, Qfiling can efficiently move files to the Recycle Bin using filing conditions. Integration with other apps also enables greater flexibility in organizing files. Qfiling can be used within Qsirch 5.0 to perform automatic archiving tasks based on search criteria, and also in QuMagie 1.3 to archive huge photo collections effortlessly.
Qfiling 3.0 uses a license system with various subscription tiers. The free version allows users to create one one-time task, one scheduled task, and one exclusive recipe using all filing conditions and editing modules. A Premium license is available for users to fulfill advanced filing needs.
Availability
Qfiling 3.0 will be available from June 2020 in the App Center. QTS 4.4.1 (or later) is required to use Qfiling 3.0, and a NAS with at least 4GB RAM is recommended for optimum performance.
