Berlin, September 5, 2019 – QNAP® will attend the upcoming annual global consumer technology exhibition, IFA 2019, that runs from September 6-11 in Berlin, Germany for the third consecutive year to present a wide range of storage solutions. At this year’s IFA, QNAP will present its home and SOHO NAS storage solutions, including the silent and fanless hybrid storage architecture NAS, HS-453DX, QNAP’s first home and SOHO NAS model with PCIe slot, TS-251B, and the Red Dot Award-winning TVS-951X, and more. QNAP storage solutions will be showcased at IFA 2019 partner booths, including at Taiwan Excellence booth in Hall 25, booth 415, Toshiba booth in Hall 17, booth 105, and Littlebit booth in Hall 12, booth 103.
HS-453DX: Silent, powerful, and fanless
QNAP presents silent hybrid storage NAS HS-453DX at IFA: The fanless home NAS uses Intel® Celeron® J4105 quad-core 1.5 GHz processor (burst to 2.5 GHz) and 4 GB or 8 GB DDR4 RAM. Equipped with two 3.5-inch drive bays and two M.2 SATA SSD slots, the NAS can handle demanding multimedia applications without a hitch. The 10GbE high-speed connectivity and 4K real-time transcoding features makes the set-top design NAS a perfect complement for living rooms and home theater systems. The HS-453DX is available in 2x 2 GB version and 2x 4 GB version for EUR 569 and EUR 669 respectively including VAT.
TS-251B: The multimedia NAS for home and SOHO users
QNAP's small tower NAS TS-251B features an Intel® Celeron® Processor J3355, a dual-core 2.0 GHz processor. The 4K HDMI output supports 4K media transcoding and streaming function to deliver an excellent multimedia experience. The TS-251B is also QNAP’s first consumer NAS to be equipped with a PCIe slot for expanding connectivity. The TS-251B is available in 2 GB RAM and 4 GB RAM models for EUR 269 and EUR 309 respectively including VAT.
TVS-951X: Compact, elegant, award-winning
The TVS-951X is a high-performance 10GBASE-T multimedia NAS for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) Powered by the 7th generation 1.8 GHz 14 nm Intel® Celeron® 3865U dual-core processor, the TVS-951X delivers high-performance read/write speeds. It also features a hybrid drive bay design— five 3.5-inch drive bays and four 2.5-inch SSD slots— with an integrated 10GBASE-T (10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100M) network port. The tower NAS model pricing starts from EUR 699 plus VAT.
TS-473: Flexible connectivity with greater functionality
The SMB-class four-bay TS-473 NAS uses an AMD RX-421ND quad-core processor with Turbo Core up to 3.4 GHz. It provides two PCIe slots that allow users to expand the NAS performance capacity through installation of 10GbE network cards, QNAP QM2 cards, graphics cards, or WLAN network cards. The TS-473 is the perfect economical NAS for SMBs searching for the most out of private clouds, high-speed data transfers, backup, restoration, virtualization, 4K media playback or graphics display. The TS-473 is available in either 4 GB RAM or 8 GB RAM models for respectively EUR 599 or EUR 699 plus VAT.
TS-253Be: Compact yet feature-rich NAS
The TS-253Be is ideal for home users, small offices or medium-sized businesses. The NAS simple design fits perfectly into the office and home environment. The TS-253Be NAS is equipped with an Intel® Celeron® Processor J3455, a quad-core 1.5 GHz processor. Thanks to the PCIe slot, users can install a QNAP QM2 card to obtain M.2 SSD caching/10GbE connectivity, or to use the NAS as a WLAN access point. The TS-253Be is available in 2 GB RAM and 4 GB RAM models with prices starting from EUR 349 and EUR 389 plus VAT.
