Taipei, Taiwan (6th September, 2013) - ASUS today announced X79-Deluxe, an ATX motherboard designed for the latest Intel® CoreTM i7 processors. ASUS X79-Deluxe is packed with exclusive ASUS technologies, including Dual Intelligent Processors 4 with 4-Way Optimization, which allows PC enthusiasts to take processor and DRAM overclocking to extreme levels easily and safely.
Along with built-in 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 for super-fast and flexible wireless connectivity, X79-Deluxe also includes ASUS SSD Caching II technology to significantly improve the performance of traditional hard disk drives (HDDs). X79-Deluxe also introduces a stunning gold-and-black design - so it looks just as great as it performs.

ASUS X79-Deluxe is designed to unleash the full power of Future Intel Core i7-49xx/48xx processors and includes numerous exclusive ASUS technologies to allow users to overclock with confidence. Dual Intelligent Processors 4 with 4-Way Optimization is an easy-to-use tuning tool that dynamically adjusts ASUS TPU (TurboV Processing Unit), EPU (Energy Processing Unit), Digi+ Power Control and Fan Xpert 2 technologies to reduce noise and increase efficiency with a single click. With X79-Deluxe and Dual Intelligent Processors 4 with 4-Way Optimization, a 3.4GHz processor's clock speed can be easily and reliably cranked to over 4.8GHz[1] - truly incredible performance.
Exceptional DRAM-overclocking performance is also achieved swiftly and simply. X79-Deluxe is able to overclock up to eight DIMMs to speeds that represent a 30% improvement on previous ASUS X79 motherboards[2], allowing users to set up very large RAM disks to benefit from super-fast access to favorite applications and everyday storage operations.
Super-fast Wi-Fi and advanced SSD caching
ASUS X79-Deluxe is fitted with an upgraded ASUS Wi-Fi GO! module that provides both 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 for extremely fast, stable and flexible wireless connectivity. With 802.11ac Wi-Fi built in, X79-Deluxe delivers wireless speeds of up to 867Mbit/s - that's up to three times faster than the 802.11n standard. A bundled dual-band (2.4GHz/5GHz), two-stream (2T2R) antenna ensures wide coverage, so a wireless network can be extended quickly and easily.
ASUS SSD Caching II technology enables traditional HDDs to perform with SSD-like speed with a single click. SSD Caching II learns how users work, caching frequently accessed HDD content to provide SSD-level speeds - all automatically, of course.
With eight SATA 6Gbit/s connectors on board X79-Deluxe, users are free to choose the perfect caching setup for their needs, be it one HDD cached across several SSDs or multiple HDDs aided by several SSDs. SSD Caching II even helps to prevent data loss thanks to the automatic backup function, so users can be assured that their data is secure.
