September, 2011 - ASUS is announcing release of BIOS version 3017 compatible with Republic Of Gamers Crosshair IV Extreme and Crosshair IV Formula motherboards.
This latest BIOS update is providing compatibility of Republic of Gamers Crosshair IV Extreme and Crosshair IV Formula motherboards with latest AMD AM3+ CPU's.
Republic Of Gamers Crosshair IV Extreme and Crosshair IV Formula comes with support for ATI CrossFireX technology that boosts image quality along with rendering speed, eliminating the need to scale down screen resolution to get high quality images. CrossFireXTM allows higher anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering, shading, and texture settings. Adjust your display configurations, experiment with the advanced 3D settings, and check the effects with a real-time 3D-rendered previews within ATI CatalystTM Control Center.

ROG Connect
Monitor the status of your desktop PC and tweak its parameters in real-time via a notebook-just like a race car engineer-with ROG Connect. ROG Connect links your main system to a notebook through a USB cable, allowing you to view real-time POST code and hardware status readouts on your notebook, as well as make on-the-fly parameter adjustments at a purely hardware level.
