SUNNYVALE, CA-DECEMBER 4, 2002-AMD (NYSE: AMD) has teamed with ASUS and NVIDIA to offer the ASUS A7N266-VM/AA motherboard, a mainstream micro-ATX motherboard certified in the stringent AMD Assured(tm) Program.

The ASUS motherboard will offer customers enterprise class performance with NVIDIA's nForce platform processors and GeForce(tm)-based graphics processing unit (GPU).

The AMD Assured Program classifies a select group of AMD processor-based motherboards to help ensure long-term availability of motherboards that provide reliable components, planned technology transitions, and manageable platforms for use in commercial desktop systems. AMD Assured motherboards have passed AMD's stringent manageability and validation tests, and are available for use in commercial offerings.
