PRESS RELEASE

The new XMG ADVANCED series gaming notebooks are now available with NVMe driven SSDs and Intel ‘Skylake’ 6th Generation Processors

Reigate 15th October 2015: Schenker Technologies have today released the latest versions of the XMG ADVANCED series. This reiteration of the ADVANCED series are based on the Intel Z170 Mobile Chipset and feature 6th Generation Intel i7 ‘Skylake’ Processors. Compared to the previous generation, these offer faster speeds with up to 60% less energy consumption. All editions of the XMG ADVANCED series include an NVIDIA GTX 960M graphics card allowing fluid FHD gameplay on high settings for the latest games. Other new features include the NVMe driven SSDs connected via PCI-Express that are therefore able to directly communicate with the CPU. This allows minimal latency and the fastest possible data transfer rate.

They also feature FlexiCharge technology which for the first time offers a unique method of prolonging a laptop batteries lifetime. Traditionally, a batteries lifespan deteriorates due to useless charge/de-charge cycles, but with FlexiCharge the laptop will restrict charging until a certain threshold is reached.
