Bioggio, 12th July 2012 - Acer is an active partner in the recently launched Microsoft Windows 8 Upgrade Program, which offers customers, who bought a PC between 2nd June 2012 and the 31st January 2013, the chance to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8 for just £14.99. In order to ensure our customers are able to take advantage of the opportunity, Acer is currently promoting this offer on its local websites and in stores.
In addition to the standard Microsoft Upgrade offer, Acer has created a unique offer for customers of its UltrabookTM. Any customer who purchases an Acer Ultrabook between 2nd June 2012 and the 31st January 2013 can apply for a refund from Acer, for the cost of the Microsoft Upgrade Program online upgrade. Acer has created this offer to ensure our latest technology products have the latest operating system, giving out customers the best possible experience.
The eligible models are the Aspire S3, Aspire S5, Aspire M3 and Aspire M5.
The special upgrade process has been designed to be as simple as possible: the customer needs to follow the standard Windows Upgrade Process. Once completed customers can visit www.acer.com/windows8upgrade and follow a link to the claim page.
Here the customer will be asked to provide information to confirm they have completed the Microsoft Upgrade Program and to identify their product. Once this has been verified and the customer has met the requirements, Acer will then refund the customer for the online cost of the Microsoft Upgrade Process.
