AMILO Xa and Xi deliver outstanding notebook entertainment experience with NVIDIA® GeForce® 8M Series GPUs for Intel and AMD platformsTHEALE, UK—AUGUST 28 2007—NVIDIA announces its GeForce 8600M GS graphics processing units (GPUs) will feature in the new range of AMILO notebooks from Fujitsu Siemens Computers.
The inclusion of NVIDIA® GeForce® 8M Series GPUs means these new notebooks are fully equipped to deliver outstanding performance in Windows Vista and other popular 3D applications like Adobe Acrobat, Google Picasa and Microsoft Maps, in addition to providing support for cutting-edge DirectX 10 games. Notebooks equipped with the GeForce 8600M GS GPU also allow users to enjoy HD movies without being tied to a desktop PC, thanks to the revolutionary NVIDIA® PureVideo® HD video processing engine.
The NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GPUs also includes:

The AMILO Xi 2528 is a multimedia notebook with a focus on connectivity, comprising a HDMI and e-SATA port as well as Bluetooth®, integrated webcam and array microphone
• AMILO Xi 2428 (priced around €1199 - €1499), including NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS GPU, Intel Centrino Duo processor technology, 15.4" LCD WXGA+ display with BrilliantView technology and Windows Vista Home Premium. The AMILO Xi 2428 is a multimedia notebook with a focus on mobility, thanks to its standard form factor of 15.4-inch. It also prioritises communication and connectivity, providing a HDMI and e-SATA port as well as Bluetooth®
• AMILO Xa 2528 (priced around €999 - €1499), including NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS GPU, AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology, 17" TFT WXGA+ 1440 x 900 pixel display with BrilliantView technology and Windows Vista Home Premium.
