Ujesh Desai, General Manager of NVIDIA Desktop GPU business unit said "PCI Express (PCX) high-speed interconnect (HSI) is a complex piece of networking technology that performs seamless, bi-directional interconnect protocol conversion at incredible speed lines, transforming NVIDIA's current award-winning GeForce FX series into a full-family of PCI Express graphics cards. HSI and PCI Express will enable a new level of performance for high bandwidth applications like graphics and networking."
GeForce PCX products are validated with the industry's top motherboard, chipset, and BIOS vendors. To date, NVIDIA has already shipped more than 1,000 PCI Express boards to customers and partners. PROLINK is glad to be qualified and to be one NVIDIA's PCI Express launch partners. Mass production of PROLINK's PCI Express top to bottom product line will be available in the second half of 2004 in tandem with NVIDIA's schedule.
