NVIDIA PLANS SIGNIFICANT PRESENCE AT GAME DEVELOPER CONFERENCE EUROPE 2003

LONDON - AUGUST 15 2003 - NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in visual processing solutions, has announced details of its significant presence at this year's Games Developer Conference Europe (GDCE), being held at Earls Court in London from August 26th to 29th.
NVIDIA will be hosting a full day of tutorials on the first day of the event, which will look at the latest technologies available in the DirectX 9.0 and OpenGL Application Programme Interfaces (APIs). Opening the day will be NVIDIA's Kurt Akeley , co-founder of SGI and the creator of OpenGL. Following this, developers will be given detailed presentations which will include a variety of spectacular effects created by NVIDIA's hardware demo team and will explain the integration of high-level shaders into game engines and content creation applications.
"This tutorial day will be the perfect chance for visitors to witness how NVIDIA is pioneering next generation graphics creation," said Darryl Still, developer relations manager EMEA at NVIDIA. "Through our 'The Way It's Meant to be Played' campaign we are working actively with developers to help optimise their projects for DirectX 9.0 to stunning effect."
