support for the new AMD Athlon(tm) 
XP processor 1800+ with
QuantiSpeed(tm) architecture. Offering the latest in 
processor
technology, the AMD Athlon XP processor 1800+ is designed to 
provide
extreme performance for end users running Microsoft's newest 
operating
system, Windows® XP, balancing improvements in the amount of work 
done
per clock cycle with increases in the processor frequency.

Athlon XP processor is compatible with AMD's Socket A infrastructure 
and
supports the advanced 266MHz front-side bus.  AMD Athlon XP 
processors
are manufactured using AMD's 0.18-micron copper process technology

Fab 30 in Dresden, Germany.
The Evolution of DualHead 
Launched in 1999, DualHead technology supported eight different
