This year the next iteration in the Tiger Woods franchise on Wii is set to benefit from the new Wii MotionPlus accessory. This is good news for fans of the series who can now look forward to a near perfect 1:1 swing, in addition to precise draw and swing capabilities.

Once again, the U.S. Open makes its inaugural appearance in Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 and Bethpage Black, known as one of the toughest tests in golf, is set to challenge every player’s golf skills with its extremely challenging course conditions. Real-time weather conditions powered by The Weather Channel, will now effect gameplay by providing current conditions at actual courses. Expect putts to roll slower on wet greens and drives to be shorter due to the rain soaked fairways.

ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt and the Golf Channel’s Kelly Tilghman will form a new commentary team that adds to the new sports broadcast presentation, including hole overviews, up-to-the –minute updates from around the course, and more.

Other new features include tournament Challenge where you can relive key moments in tournament history through an all-new character progression mode and Precision Putting, which allows you to maintain complete control of your backswing and follow-through to ensure an accurate putt.

Exciting changes are also in store for gamers online as Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 features new enhancements for the online tournaments. Details are yet to be revealed.

EA claims that the Wii MotionPlus accessory is so good that playing Tiger Woods will be like bringing a golf simulator to our living rooms! There's not too long to wait to see if Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 delivers. June 16, 2009 is the date to put in your diaries.
