Call of Duty 3
When Wii arrives I'm sure it will be a lot of fun using the innovative Wii-mote to play games such as Tennis and Baseball, but how will the controller be utilised in intense army games, such as Activision's Call of Duty 3?
The executive producer of the latest game in the Call of Duty series ,Marcus Iremonge, feels that it will make the series even more compelling and will draw us into the virtual world, making us feel as if we are in complete control of the soldier's actions.
Gaming website, 1UP, have interviewed Iremonge to find out more about the World War II game, and how the Wii-mote will be used to create a realistic war-time experience.
From the interview:
So, how does that lead into what we can do with the Wii? The Wii is perfect for this. The Wii actually allows us to bring the physical approach, but now you’ve going to interact physically. Just imagine now that gun’s in your hands, as a player, not just on the screen. It’s in your hands, and you’ve got that controller, and now you’re shaking that controller. Maybe you’re rowing a boat across the river; now you’re actually rowing the controller. So these are some of the things that are just really going make you feel like you’re in that world. We can't wait to see how this one turns out.
