Games bundles can be an important factor in swaying a purchaser decision one way or another. Nvidia has just announced a new bundle offering the choice between two of the biggest AAA PC games due out in the coming months. The new bundle is called the Bullets or Blades GeForce GTX bundle and offers the choice of either of the games detailed below.
- Assassin's Creed Syndicate: Microsoft Windows version due on 19th November 2015
- Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege: All formats expected to be released on 1st December 2015
Assassin's Creed Syndicate and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege are developed by Ubisoft Quebec and Montreal respectively. Nvidia wrote to HEXUS to say that it has been working closely with these development teams to "ensure that both titles feature enhanced graphics".
Nvidia reminds us how "critics praised Assassin's Creed: Unity for the way intricate details pop, thanks to our NVIDIA HBAO+ lighting techniques". Similarly, it says, Nvidia PhysX, MFAA and TXAA have helped benefit the visuals of the Assassin's Creed series of games. Ubisoft's Tom Clancy inspired games also have a history of using Nvidia graphics enhancements.
Unfortunately you can't just buy any Nvidia graphics card to net one of these highly anticipated new games. It has to be a GeForce GTX, and it must be a higher end GTX:
Purchasers of a GeForce GTX 980 Ti, 980 or 970 GPU, or 970M or above notebook, bought via a participating seller, qualify for the Bullets or Blades bundle. The bundle deal runs "for a limited time," though there is no mention of any limited quantities of the UPlay keys being available.
