Valve has released a toolet for the zombie-slaying action game, Left 4 Dead 2, which allows you to design you own maps and fiddle around with the A.I. director.

If you can't be bothered designing your own you can install the add-on support package which will enable you to run custom maps. Details on how to download it are available on the Left 4 Dead blog page.

Left 4 Dead 2 was voted as one of the best games of 2009 by our readers at HEXUS.gaming, ranking at number 2 just behind Dragon Age: Origins. You can check out the full review here.

Maybe a reason to buy it, never been much for the left 4 dead stuff
Ah brilliant it's finally out, theres some great custom maps out there, some being better then the official campaigns.

Valve was meant to release this on release day same as L4D1 though and that took a whole 11 months.
Fortunately there will be a boom of maps as people port their past creations.
