Razer launch world's first 3G infrared sensor gaming mouse

Razer has launched its latest product, the Razer DeathAdder, the world’s first 3G infrared sensor gaming mouse for Mac gamers.

The 3G infrared sensor in the Razer DeathAdder enables movement speeds at 2.25 times faster when compared to a standard 800dpi optical sensor and also boasts a response time of 1ms, as compared to that of 125Hz / 8ms found in conventional gaming mice.

It appears to be wired. That surprises me. Wouldn't it be better - for 3d movement - if this was wireless?
