Currently working on Unreal Tournament 2007
HEXUS:
What does your experience tell you about the effects that music has on a game?
Jesper:
I feel that a good score will create emotion in a game. A bad score will sit in the background and make you feel nothing.
HEXUS:
What projects are you currently working on?
Jesper:The Chronicles of Spellborn (www.tcos.com), Unreal Tournament 2007 and a next generation AAA title for Ubisoft Montreal.
Note: Could this be Red Steel? Possibly, although it's been suggested that it's Ubisoft Paris who are dealing with the game.
HEXUS:
How would you describe your score for your latest project Hitman: Blood Money?
Jesper:Epic, dark orchestra and choir music mixed with electronics, dance beats and synths.
HEXUS:
What technology is involved in recording a gaming composition?
Jesper:Recording a game composition is like recording any other type of music. Naturally, the equipment used should be professional recording quality, and sometimes you are asked for a surround mix.
HEXUS:
Would you consider a duet with 50cent (50cent ) and if so would you wear a bandana and baggy pants and dance like MC Hammer?
Jesper:
Well, no, no and no.
HEXUS:
Can you please take our psychological test?
HEXUS:McDonalds or Burger King?
Jesper:McDee’s
HEXUS:Ghost or Dirty Dancing?
Jesper:Ghost (argh, what a choice!)
