Amazon is working on an upcoming software update for its Kindle and Kindle DX electronic book readers.
A major area of expansion will be the implementation of Facebook and Twitter support, presumably to make reading a little more engaging for social networking fans.
Other enhancements will include the ability to organise books and documents into collections, password protection and, what Amazon describes as being improved clarity and more fonts, to polish your reading experience.
Version 2.5 of Amazon's Kindle Software is currently in the throes of testing within a limited group of users, with general roll-out scheduled for late May.
