The first trailer for Clint Eastwood's Changeling has made its way online, and is viewable in flash-format below, or in HD by clicking here.

Changeling, starring Angelina Jolie and John Malkovich, is based on the true story of Christine Collins (Jolie), a mother who reported her son missing in 1928. As the story goes, the Los Angeles Police Department find and return Collins' son, but there's a problem, the boy isn't hers.

Back in the 1920's, the events received nationwide attention in the US and led to exposed corruption in the Los Angeles Police Department. More recently, popular TV-writer J. Michael Straczynski turned the events into a screenplay and Clint Eastwood came onboard to direct. Check out the trailer below:

With recent gems like Mystic River, Million Dollar Baby and Letters from Iwo Jima under his belt, Eastwood looks to have another promising thriller in store. What do you think? Share your thoughts on Changeling in the HEXUS.community forums.

Changeling hits UK theatres on November 28th 2008.

J. Michael Straczynski is, of course, writer of Babylon 5.

Should be a good film, then.
