Sony Ericsson's UK store has been updated to allow consumers to pre-register for details on its upcoming XPERIA X10 handset, and has revealed an expected launch date of February 2010.
The XPERIA X10, announced earlier this month, is to become Sony Ericsson's first mobile phone to feature the Open Handset Alliance's Android operating system. Sporting a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 processor, the handset also boasts an 8.1 megapixel camera with auto focus, geo-tagging and a 16x digital zoom
The pre-registration page isn't offering a lot to go on, but with Sony having previously suggested that the handset would become available worldwide in the first half of 2010, the suggested UK launch in February looks promising.
