Competition time is upon us once more, with a familiar face rearing its head once again. Compro, a company synonymous with TV-tuners and, it seems, generosity, has teamed up with us to give away another pair of TV tuner cards. Hooray!

So, if you're finally getting around to that media center build, you need some more tuners, or you're fed up of the ones you have now, see if either of these tickle your fancy:

Compro VideoMate Vista T500F

T500F

A hybrid tuner supporting digital and analogue reception and shipped with a Vista MCE compatible remote, here are the key features of the T500F:

  • A Hybrid tuner for DVB-T or Analogue TV signal reception to watch/record/capture TV on your PC
  • Advanced PIP/POP feature can open up to 4 digital TV channel windows at once. You can watch live TV and playback 1 recorded video file at the same time.
  • Compro exclusive S5/S4/S3 mode Power Up Scheduled Recording (Turn on PC -> start ComproDTV software -> record Live TV -> turn off PC automatically)
  • Bundled with Windows Media Center remote to control MCE/Vista and ComproDTV 4 software
  • Convenient Remote Controlled Power On/Off
  • Straight-to-Disc recording for analog and digital TV

Compro VideoMate Vista T750F

T750F

The T750F features both digital and analogue tuners, both of which can be used simultaneously. Here are its vitals:

  • Dual tuners for DVB-T or Analogue TV signal reception to watch/record/capture TV on your PC
  • Advanced PIP/POP feature can open up to 4 digital TV channel windows at once. You can watch digital and analogue Live TV at the same time.
  • Compro exclusive S5/S4/S3 mode Power Up Scheduled Recording (Turn on PC -> start ComproDTV software -> record Live TV -> turn off PC automatically)
  • Bundled with Windows Media Center remote to control MCE/Vista and ComproDTV 4 software
  • Convenient Remote Controlled Power On/Off
  • Multiple still frame captures and remote snapshot

To be in with a chance of winning one of these cards, all you have to do is answer the following question:

What power modes does Compro's exclusive Power Up Scheduled Recording feature support?

Do you think you could make the radio buttons on the entry form a little bit smaller?

They are far too easy to make out which one is selected at the moment :P
