New Galaxy A-Series smartphone range combines luxury design with a host of features
London, UK - 28th January - Samsung Electronics today announced that the first smartphones in its Galaxy A-Series range, the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5, are available to buy in UK stores on Thursday 12th February. Offering trademark Galaxy features housed in a sophisticated all-metal exterior with the slimmest design yet, the Galaxy A-Series combines style with functionality for an exceptional experience.
The Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 will be available to buy from selected high street retailers and networks including Carphone Warehouse, EE and O2. Additionally, customers will be able to pre-order the devices from the Samsung Experience Stores (SES) and Samsung online shop from 28th January, as well as being able to try out and experience the devices for themselves at the SES.
Unveiling the A-Series
Establishing a new category, the A-Series promises serious sophistication at an affordable price point. Perfect for those who don't want to compromise on style or technology, the Galaxy A3 and A5 combine a sleek all-metal design with an extraordinary Super AMOLED display for vivid, colourful content wherever you are. The Galaxy A3 comes equipped with a 4.5"qHD display, while the Galaxy A5 features a 5.0'' HD display. In addition, both devices also feature a Quad Core 1.2 GHz processor for seamless multi-tasking and a faster browsing experience.
Powerful performance, premium design
The perfect partners for work and play, the A-Series range offers a host of features to give you the premium technology you need, with no unnecessary add-ons. Ideal for photo snapping and sharing, the Galaxy A3 and A5 are equipped with an advanced 5MP front-facing camera and innovative photo-taking features such as Wide Selfie, Palm Selfie, Animated GIF, Beauty Face Features, and Rear-cam Selfie, so you can capture the perfect selfie in high resolution. Plus, the Galaxy A3 and A5 feature high-quality rear cameras -8MP and 13MP AF respectively.
Both devices will come in a variety of colours, including Pearl White and Midnight Black, for a premium look from every angle.
