Latest addition to the Galaxy stable to hit shops early June
6th June 2012, London, UK - Samsung has today announced that the Galaxy Mini 2, the successor to last year's Galaxy Mini and a stylish, affordable addition to Samsung's Galaxy range, will be available in UK stores from 4th June.
Simon Stanford, Vice President UK & IRE Telecommunications & Networks Division, Samsung said: "We've had a good response to the Galaxy Mini since it launched last year, particularly among the ‘first smartphone generation.' Smartphone growth is continuing at pace this year, and not just at the premium end of the market. Handsets such as the Galaxy Mini 2 are needed to meet the growing demand for more affordable devices for customers on the lookout for their first smartphone."
The super-slim Galaxy Mini 2 measures at just 11.9mm, and with its colourful casing, it's great for anyone on the lookout for an easy-to-use pocket-size device. Complete with access to Samsung's ChatON and Hubs services, the Galaxy Mini 2 is a great social device and makes it easy to keep in touch with friends and family.
A 3.27" HVGA touch-screen makes viewing high quality multimedia, including photos, videos and games, an enjoyable experience. With an improved 1,300mAh battery capacity, multimedia usage is guaranteed for longer, whilst 4GB of storage means more videos, music and images can be stored without having to delete old content.
