Creative (Nasdaq: CREAF), the worldwide leader in digital entertainment products for the personal computer and the Internet, today announces the Creative MuVo TX 256MB personal digital audio player. Featuring voice recording capability, the Creative MuVo TX 256MB combines good looks and great portability with ultra-fast USB 2.0 compatibility, cutting download times from minutes to seconds. Simply plug the storage module into a USB 2.0 port and drag and drop files straight to it as though it were an additional disk drive. The Creative MuVo TX 256MB is also backwards compatible for users with USB 1.1.

The Creative MuVo TX 256MB comes in a striking black and white colour scheme. It stores up to 4 hours (60 tracks*) of music in MP3 or 8 hours (120 tracks*) in WMA and gives up to 15 hours of continuous playback from a single AAA battery. Like other members of the MuVo family it consists of two parts, a USB-compliant flash storage module and the player module, which snap together neatly to create the perfect portable digital audio player. As well as supporting direct 'drag and drop' downloads, the system comes with Creative's MediaSource software to make file conversion on the PC faster and easier. The built-in microphone supports up to 16 hours of voice recording, making it ideal for quick voice notes or recording business meetings or lectures. Priced at £129.99inc VAT, the Creative MuVo TX 256MB will be available mid-April.

The Creative MuVo TX 256MB features a cool blue backlit LCD with icon-based interface and an easy-to-use scroller button. These features provide total control over songs and play modes, such as Shuffle and Resume, and the screen displays full song information from ID3 tags such as track number, play time, play mode and EQ settings.
