Altec Lansing Introduces the New Muzx DNA Portfolio of Premium Sound, Noise-Isolating Earphones

Berlin, Germany – Sept 3rd, 2010 – Altec Lansing today unveiled six models in its new MuzxDNA line of stereo earphones. Geared for music, multimedia and voice control, the Muzx DNA range is designed for comfort and superb sound quality. The SnugFitÔ design features flexible, adaptable material, which shapes to the contours of the ear and blocks out background noise allowing users to become fully immersed in their music. All of the earphones have enhanced bass frequency response giving a deep rich sound.

Premium earphones with Inline Control: Features and Pricing

The Muzx DNA line includes three new voice control models:

MUZX Ultra (MSRP £99.99/ €99.99) earphones with iPod and iPhone™ compatible inline controls for music and voice applications. The Ultra also features balanced armature drivers for exceptional audio definition as well as a sleek black design to match the iPhone.

MUZX Extra (MSRP £49.99/ €49.99) features increased bass response and tough cloth cord with moisture and friction resistant coating, as well as the full Apple-compliant inline control pod.

MUZX Core (MSRP £29.99/ €29.99) comes in two colours, gunmetal and white and features voice-compatible inline controls, enhanced bass, cloth cord with
moisture and friction resistant coating and excellent sound at an economic price point.

Fashion earphones: Features and Pricing

MUZX Mesh (MSRP £19.99/ €19.99) designed with a streamlined profile and featuring superior sound coupled with an enhanced bass, the Muzx Mesh is ideal for heavy music listeners who wear their earphones constantly.

MUZX XX (MSRP £19.99/ €19.99) combines a more feminine look with soft colours and a low profile fit. 

MUZX XY (MSRP £19.99/ €19.99) is ideal for an active lifestyle user, featuring an innovative pivot joint with a single wire design for a neckband wearing style offering full motion freedom. 

The Muzx Ultra features armature drivers that give a high performance audio designed to match the frequency response of the ear, the other models are designed around 9mm drivers giving full-range balanced sound. They include a selection of in-ear, snug fit tips for ultimate comfort and acoustic clarity. Ample cable length and intuitive designs allow consumers to quickly plug into their music or multimedia on the go.
