Better late than never
Most OEMs, such as Lenovo and HP, decided to get their Windows 7 announcements in well before launch day, presumably to get the limelight to themselves. MSI, however, seems to have let things get down to the wire.
Today, on W7 launch day itself, Taiwanese PC and component manufacturer MSI has announced that it will announce a couple of new all-in-ones and a new thin-and-light in the coming weeks. We don't have definite dates yet, but we expect them to come soon and for the thin-and-light to come first.
AE2200 and AE2020
These are the new touch-screen all-in-ones, although MSI only seems to be offering information on the AE2200. It runs on an Intel Pentium dual-core E5400 processor and comes with optional ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 graphics. The screen is 21.6 inch/1920 x 1080, there's 4GB memory, Wi-Fi and an optional Blu-Ray drive.
Here's a picture of some bloke looking lovingly at one.
U200
This is a 12.1 inch 1.3 kg notebook. MSI isn't specifying the CPU yet, but it's Intel and almost certainly CULV. MSI is also referring to it as the Wind12 and it features ‘Easyface' face detection software for a claimed "safer and effortless login".
