Bing app update
Microsoft has also added better travel tools and mapping to its Bing for Mobile iPhone and iPod Touch app.
The app now boasts a ‘price predictor' within Bing's travel features which lists top offers from nearby airports and last-minute holiday deals. There is also a flight search to find a specific fare and a price predictor lets users know when they should buy their airfare for the cheapest price. Microsoft has added a flight status feature too, according to a blog post by Bin for Mobile's Andy Chu.
The Bing mapping service for phones has also been redesigned to make traffic details, business listings and pushpin features easier to use.
"We increased the font size corresponding to larger roads and added neighborhood labels so you can easily identify and convey locations in cities. We have also added what's Nearby with enhanced map and labels so you can 'fly' through a neighborhood and quickly find a local listing, and best of all, you can easily switch between the map view and the list view on the map," said Chu.
