Getting a social life
It's all very well Facebook announcing it's going to socialise the entire Internet, but there are quite a few other companies with their own social ambitions.
The latest to make a social move is music streaming service Spotify, which today released version 0.4.3, containing a bunch of new social features. While these centre around familiar services, like Facebook and Twitter, they also allow you to create your own social profile, import ‘friends' and generally live the social dream through Spotify.
Unlike many social networking developments, we can see a use for this if you want to recommend a track you're listening to, or just define yourself by your music taste. Here's a list of the new features and a video to put them into some context.
