Yorkshire distie Target Components has launched a new online RMA system, called Fastback 2, that it claims will speed up the both the submission and processing of new RMAs.
"We were one of the first distributors to introduce an online RMA system many years ago, but had never really developed it further," said Target MD Paul Cubbage. "Our new system is extremely intuitive, allowing customers to create RMAs in seconds."
"We understand that our customers want to spend as much time as possible doing business and as little time as possible on paperwork. We're well known for innovations that help our customers to do more business, but this is one that allows them to do less admin."
Target has been bucking market trends during the global recession, and registered its best ever six months trading figures in the first half of 2009. Cubbage attributed this performance to Target's strategy of taking on brands, like Biostar and Team, which it distributes exclusively in the UK.
Cubbage also believes a renewed emphasis on customer service has served Target well, as larger disties have cut their workforce during the recession. This latest innovation is a product of that strategy.
