Refreshing change
Amid all the apocalyptic talk of lay-offs, bail-outs and Christmas being cancelled, it's heart warming to see that some companies are still expecting growth.
Castleford distributor Target Components has founded its business on the independent retailer and reseller channels and, judging by its latest news, seems to be ticking along nicely in spite of Bankageddon and subsequent recession.
Target has appointed Adrian Macklin as its new sales director and Caroline Spillane as marketing manager (both pictured below). This is in addition to the recent appointments of Ijaz Usman as business development executive and Mahmoud Madaci as product manager.
"Target Components is already leading the market and I will be looking to reinforce that lead; we have a very busy period ahead of us which includes launching several new brands exclusive to us," said Macklin.
"These appointments not only reflect the growth that we are seeing in our business but bring in the necessary expertise to expand our offering to customers and further accelerate our development," added Target MD Paul Cubbage. "All four have proven track records in their respective areas and will be instrumental to our future development and I am delighted to have them in the team."
