No more driver problems then?

Microsoft yesterday announced the long-awaited release of Windows Vista service pack 1 (SP1) to manufacturers, with it being made available to all users in mid-march. This will come as welcome news to the PC trade, especially those selling to business, as many would-be purchasers had resolved to wait until SP1 was released before upgrading to Vista. In more Microsoft news, head honcho Steve Ballmer strongly implied that he wants to bring forward the time at which Microsoft’s Surface technology is available in consumer products.
