The relationship many Mac-users have with their computers is possibly the second most intimate any human being can have with their tool. Now, at long last, this cult-like devotion is being revealed on film in the new documentary: MacHEADS.
This exposé of the way in which having a Mac means so much
more to many users than merely owning a computer promises to “pose the ultimate
question: Is Apple losing faith as a community and becoming just a…brand?” Perish the thought.
It has taken brothers Kobi and Ron Sheli two years to complete and the trailer is currently doing the rounds on the web. Of all the fanatics featured in the trailer, this quote perhaps best sums up the hold Apple, and specifically the messianic Steve Jobs, have over these unquestioning disciples: “Muslims go to Mecca; we go to Macca."
