Press release

Orange today announced a new Corporate Talk Plan for large business customers, making it the first UK operator to include office landline to mobile - as well as mobile to mobile - calls, together in a simple and flexible bundle, enabling easy cost control. With many companies operating both landline and mobile phones as part of their communications set-up and thus making large numbers of calls from office landlines to company mobiles, the new Corporate Talk Plan is designed to help customers gain tighter control across all phone expenses and make the most of their existing assets.

Responding to businesses needs to simplify their outgoings and keep spending in check, the new Corporate Talk Plan ensures that customers benefit from new, reduced pricing as well as the lowest out of bundle prices available on the market.

The Corporate Talk Plan enables businesses to have a virtual network that includes their existing landline and company mobile numbers, using indirect access to their existing exchange line. This means that calls from office phones to company mobiles are effectively treated as though they are on the same network, saving money on calls between employees, no matter where they are based.

Customers of the Corporate Talk Plan also benefit from:

  • Free calls from users within the talk share plan to landline numbers, and unlimited calls between sharers*
  • Unlimited calls to national landline numbers (starting with 01/02/03)
  • No minimum call charge
  • Reduced rate calls from office landlines to customers or suppliers on non-Orange mobiles
  • 24 hour faulty handset replacement service
  • No premium charges for those who use up their Corporate Talk Plan's quota of calls

Businesses can choose from a range of plans to fit their individual needs, from 2,500 minutes to cover between 50 and 100 employees to 375,000 minutes to cover between 500 and 1,500 employees.  Businesses won't be charged premium prices if they use up their quota of calls, and if customers find that their actual usage doesn't quite fit the Corporate Talk Plan they have selected, the size of the bundle can easily be scaled up or down.

Michael Lawrence, Head of Corporate Propositions at Orange UK, said, "The Corporate Talk Plan from Orange offers a refreshingly easy way for companies to communicate within a set budget, and we are delighted to be the first UK operator to include unlimited calls from office landlines to company mobiles in a simple, fixed price plan. Considering that so many organisations are still making a lot of phone calls between office landlines and mobiles, we have identified this as a real opportunity for our customers to make the most of their existing communications set-up.  With lower out of bundle charges they don't need to worry about the bills, and can lower their operating costs with a plan that suits their needs".

The Corporate Talk Plan from Orange is available to purchase directly from the Orange corporate sales team.
