Press release

Brussels, Belgium, Nov 30, 2009 - Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM), the world's largest distributor of technology products and supply chain services, announced today that the acquisition of Computacenter Distribution (CCD), previously announced October 27, 2009, has now been completed.

Alain Maquet, president of Ingram Micro EMEA, said, "This acquisition is a strong complement to our existing UK business, and it further advances our EMEA strategy to expand into the value business. It positions us as a significant ‘value-added' distributor, with the expertise to serve a broad range of customers and vendors in multiple segments."

With this transaction, Ingram Micro welcomes approximately 40 employees who will be based in the Maidenhead office joining Ingram Micro UK's Enterprise Server and Storage division, comprised of our value, networking and DC/POS (data capture/point of sale) teams.

Ingram Micro and CCD have been working hard to ensure there is a smooth transition and that the highest levels of service are maintained from the first day, with current orders, stock, scheduling and configuration requirements all in hand.  CCD business relationships will continue to be maintained with current contacts.

Ingram Micro Regional Vice President UK and Benelux, Johan Vandenbussche, highlighted the benefits for customers of the extended offering, saying "This acquisition puts us in a strong growth position. Our Value Business team will drive partner enablement in HP converged infrastructure solutions.  We have received enthusiastic feedback from our customer and vendor partners as this acquisition strengthens our full product portfolio for both Ingram Micro's existing customers as well as CCD's clients."

CCD is the leading distributor of mid-tier enterprise products in the important UK market, with a respected 22-year experience and long-standing relationships with its customers, built on the HP franchise. Both HP and Ingram Micro have been recently recognized as best in class, being winners last week of the CRN Vendor of the Year, and Distributor of the Year respectively. "We're looking forward to a very successful 2010 with our extended resource and capabilities helping existing Ingram Micro and CCD customers develop their business even further," said Vandenbussche.

HP has also endorsed the transaction, and Kevin Matthews, HP UK and Ireland Channel Manager, said "In purchasing CCD, Ingram Micro has taken on an experienced team with a history of working closely with HP over many years.  The combination of this expertise and Ingram Micro's effective sales and marketing teams should enable the HP enterprise portfolio to reach a wide audience.  This acquisition now positions Ingram Micro as an HP distributor that has the full portfolio of ESSN (enterprise server, storage and networking) products, allowing them to architect and deliver the compelling converged infrastructure message from HP.  I wish them every success in this exciting acquisition."
