VIP Computer Centre Ltd (VIP), the UK's leading independent distributor of computer components and peripherals, today announced stock of the Thermaltake BlacX A HDD Docking Station.
Classically styled in silver and black, the BlacX A (VIP Order Code: 195007) is equipped to support 2.5" notebook and 3.5" desktop SATA hard drives up to 1TB. With hot-swap capability for fast access to internal hard drives, the docking station positions the hard drive upright for maximum heat dissipation. When the hard drive needs to be disconnected, it can be safely detached from the dock without risk of damage.
A silicon jacket for the hard drive is included to offer added protection whilst handling the unit. The optional choice of USB or eSATA interface makes it convenient to use with transfer speeds of up to 3gb/s.
