Conclusion

...Cooler Master has a solid PSU line-up that is ideal for mainstream PC builds that don't need the latest Platinum or Titanium supplies...

Cooler Master comes armed to the mainstream PSU party with a quartet of supplies under the MasterWatt banner.

The 650W model uses an established HEC platform to provide 80 PLUS Bronze certification in a supply that also provides two things we look for at this price point: semi-modular cabling and a passive-fan mode - at up to 15 per cent, or 100W, in this instance.

In all other respects, Cooler Master has a solid PSU line-up that is ideal for mainstream PC builds that don't need the latest Platinum or Titanium supplies, and savings made here can obviously be repurposed elsewhere.

Backed by a five-year warranty and offering everything a budding PC builder will need for a mainstream machine, Cooler Master hits most of the right notes. Recommended.

The Good

The Bad

Tad close to the far better Corsair TX series 80+ Gold PSUs price-wise, though.
