Conclusion

Lenovo is well on the way toward perfecting the convertible form factor, and it is only the display that prevents the C930 from achieving all-round excellence.

There's no shortage of competition in the premium Ultrabook space, but the Lenovo Yoga C930 at the very least deserves a seat at the table.

Employing a few neat tricks to help it stand out from the crowd, this sleek, understated 13.9in system enjoys a stowable Wacom pen, a very good keyboard and trackpad, consistent all-round performance, great battery life and an impressive speaker system that excels irrespective or orientation.

Lenovo is well on the way toward perfecting the convertible form factor, and it is only the display that prevents the C930 from achieving all-round excellence. The default full-HD panel offers limited luminance and poor contrast, there's a weird bug that effectively turns the screen off at minimum brightness, and the chunky lower bezel is far from elegant in tablet mode.

Bottom line: Yoga C930 is already well worthy of consideration, but a bright 16:10 display option is all it would take to elevate this stylish convertible from good to outstanding.
