The GeForce 7600GT isn't a bad GPU by any means. However, with current GeForce 7900 GS pricing starting at around £110 and offering substantially more performance, as evinced by our benchmarks, '7600 GT needs to be marketed at below, say, £80 if it's going to appeal to the masses.
Foxconn, however, has added a decent bundle to its stock-clocked card and retail pricing has been pushed up towards £95. That's fine, we suppose, if you really, really need a USB rumble pad and a couple of useful programs from FarStone, but, for most, the proposition won't offer the price/performance ratio that GeForce 7900 GS does.
A lack of HDCP support is also disappointment, too, but that's inherent in the SKU itself.
In terms of buying advice, we'd recommend pooling some extra pennies and opting for a GeForce 7900 GS or Radeon X1950 Pro. Both are substantially faster, feature HDCP support and, for what it's worth, are more futureproof as a result.
Bottom line - GeForce 7600 GT retail cards need to be aggressively priced and therefore offer significant value for money to the average user: the Foxconn FV-N76TM2D2 doesn't.
