Final thoughts and rating
Taking the winning formula that is NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 460, Inno3D's pre-overclocked 1GB card offers commendable out-the-box performance and is able to keep both cool and quiet under load.
Finding a useful middle ground in terms of factory-overclocked frequencies, the card is mighty close to hitting the GeForce GTX 460 sweet spot.
Other cards offer higher frequencies at the same price, but they often do so at the expense of system noise and power draw.
The Inno3D GeForce GTX 460 OC is one of the quietest GTX 460s we've ever tested, and it has ample overclocking headroom, too.
In performance terms, the graphics card is closely matched to last year's Radeon HD 5850 but is today available for £20 less.
Consumers with a little tweaking know-how could of course purchase a stock-clocked card and manually raise frequencies - saving a further £15 in the process - but Inno3D's pre-overclocked card is a tasty prospect at £185.
The Good
Strong out-the-box performance
Further overclocking headroom
Very quiet under load
The Bad
Lacklustre bundle
