--- Mounting System and Fitment Time

Mounting System

We initially thought that the V1 used a complicated mounting system. We noticed only four holes drilled into the base of the cooler and expected the worst. Happily, mounting is pretty straightforward, leaving us to wonder why others can't keep things this simple.

Two small wing plates need to be attached to the base of the cooler using four screws. The screws are rather small but that's about the worst we can say about the mounting set-up because the wing plates use good old push-pins.

The V1's narrow foundations and the use of a push-pin system result in a cooler that has plenty of room around the base and is remarkably easy to fit.

Fitment Time

A creditable fifth place in the table resulted from the V1 taking just 140 seconds (2 minutes 20 seconds) to fit. A better league position was prevented by the need to assemble various elements.
