--- Appearance, Specification and Compatibility

Appearance

At 637g, the V1 sits bang in the middle of all the other coolers here. In contrast, its dimensions are pretty compact at 147(h) x 142(w) x 92(d) mm. The V1 features a low-profile 120mm fan with blue LEDs and this is sandwiched between two separate heat-sinks.

The V1 has four 6mm heat pipes set into a solid copper base. The pairs on each side are of different heights to bring heat to different areas of the fins.

Although the V1 does have a fan-controller, it's in a pretty odd place. A small wire is attached directly to the fan and rests against the base of the cooler when it's in use. There is no back plate or extension wire for the controller, so we set the fan to its middle speed before sealing the case.
